The observation tower is another group project where we had to design an observation tower. The site is in De Smet, SD and the language my partner and I decided on was an organic tree-like form. The big focus of this was the flexible wood skin shown on the model that gives it that free moving tree-like quality. This model also worked with lighting to show nighttime lighting qualities.
